I tried this new recipe I found on Pinterest for coconut macaroons and thought I would give it a try for a tasty Valentine’s Day treat! Here is the original link from EatMyCharlotte. I just wanted to share the love!
Need: 1package coconut (14oz)
2/3c sugar
6T flour
1/4t salt
4 egg whites
1t almond extract
preheat oven to 375F
mix coconut, sugar, flour and salt
in separate bowl mix egg white and almond extract, pour into coconut mixture
mix until well blended – it gets kind of sticky!
drop mounds onto parchment paper lined baking sheet (~1T ish per mound)
bake for ~20min or until the edges are brown
